Bangla Views
Ongoing technical work on a busy Bangla news portal: new newsroom features, performance and server care.
I currently handle the day-to-day technical side of Bangla Views. Recent work includes an automatic reporter ID card system, permissions that let writers edit their own published stories, and a round of speed fixes: lighter fonts, lazy-loaded ads, a larger database cache and a more stable server during traffic spikes.
The work is ongoing, so new tools for the newsroom keep being added as the team needs them.
